CC To Take Over QSR Wednesday – 3/30 – DCRTV hears that Clear Channel will officially take over operations of Baltimore’s WQSR, 102.7 FM, on Wednesday, 4/1. As part of a multi-city multi-station trade deal announced in late 2008 by CC and QSR’s current owner, CBS Radio. So far, no word on what will happen with QSR’s “Jack” classic hits format. We know we have!” So, what does Clear Channel have planned? A contemporary hit format like CC-DC’s Hot 99.5? Or maybe a revamped oldies format? Maybe putting CC’s WCAO AM gospel format on FM? Stay tuned…..
